The review we are proudest of
A Google review from a Metropolitan Police sergeant
Being a Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police, and a Veteran of 12 years in the British Army, I'm overly suspicious and very cautious of who I do dealings with. … I simply can't fault them in any way. Great job!

The Seal Pro Standard
How Every Seal Pro Roof Goes On
01
We turn up when we say we will
Our own team, in a Seal Pro van, on the day we agreed. Cornelius has quoted the job himself, so nothing is lost between the sale and the roof.
02
Scaffold up, edge protection on
Scaffold goes up around the house with boards, guard rails and a branded banner, so the neighbours know exactly who is working on your roof.
03
Stripped back to the rafters
Old tiles, battens and felt come off. The rafters are checked once they are exposed, before anything new goes on.
04
Breathable membrane
A new vapour-permeable membrane, lapped and fixed across every slope: rain stays out, moisture can escape.
05
Treated timber battens
New treated battens, gauged and set out to the tile, so every course sits straight and is mechanically fixed.
06
Tiles or natural slate, course by course
Redland tiles, clay or natural Spanish slate, laid and fixed from the eaves up, cut properly around chimneys and roof windows.
07
Dry ridge and lead
A ventilated dry ridge, clipped and screwed with no mortar to crack, and lead dressed by hand around the chimney.
08
Signed off by Cornelius
The owner inspects the finished roof himself, the site is cleared and the work is covered by our company workmanship guarantee.

The materials
Specified, Not Improvised
Every quote names the exact products going on your roof. These are the ones we fit most, photographed on our own jobs.
Natural slate
Spanish slate
Hand-sorted and holed natural slate for period roofs, as fitted on our Twickenham job.
Clay
Clay plain tiles
Matched to the house and the street, cut and fixed properly at every abutment, as on our Richmond roof.
Underlay
Breathable membrane and treated battens
Vapour-permeable membrane lapped across every slope, with new treated battens gauged to the tile.
Ridges
Dry ridge and dry hips
Clipped and screwed over a ventilated roll. No mortar to crack, wash out or repoint.
Leadwork
Lead, dressed by hand
Lead at hips, valleys, chimneys and abutments, where most roof leaks really start.
Flat roofs
Felt, EPDM and GRP
Built up on a rebuilt deck with proper falls, upstands and outlets, never laid over rot.
Certificate of workmanship
Guaranteed in Writing
Every roof we complete is covered by our company workmanship guarantee, issued by a fully insured limited company, not a sole trader.

Built Like It Is Going on His Own House

If he would not be happy to have it on his own family's home, it does not go on yours.

Meet Cornelius
Seal Pro Roofing is Cornelius's company, and he runs it the way you would want a roofer to: hands-on, on site and answering his own phone. He has spent over 27 years roofing homes across this area, and it shows in the work.
His rule is simple. If he would not be happy to have a product on his own family's home, it does not go on yours. That means proper materials fitted properly: quality tiles, natural slate and full systems underneath, never a quick cosmetic fix that fails two winters later.
A family man and a professional through and through, Cornelius quotes every job personally, explains exactly what your roof needs in plain English and stands behind the work with the company guarantee. Seal Pro is a fully insured limited company, not a sole trader, so you always know exactly who you are dealing with. It is how Seal Pro has earned a 5.0 rating from 150+ homeowners on Bark.
